An Epidemiological Study of the Prevalence and Needs of Children of Incarcerated Parents within the State of Arizona (2005): A voluntary self-report, which surveys inmates-parents of more than 3,500 Arizona children to examine their family situation and needs.
An Analysis of Post-Booking Jail Diversion Programming for Persons with Co-Occurring Disorders (2004): Examines the effectiveness and implications of a jail diversion program aimed at of 248 individuals with co-occurring serious mental illness and substance use disorders.
The Arizona Substance Abuse Workforce (2004): Examines the substance abuse treatment gap in Arizona. CABHP partnered with Pacific Southwest Addiction Technology Transfer Center (PSATTC) for a comprehensive survey of substance abuse counselors and their supervisors in Arizona, New Mexico and California.
Tucson Crisis Intervention Consensus Project (2003): Comprised of a large, diverse panel of community stakeholders, the Crisis Intervention Consensus Project met from June 2002 until May 2003 to develop a model system for pre-booking jail diversion and crisis response in Pima County. The report documents the background, process utilized and outcomes achieved by the effort.
