Peer Support Recovery Program (PSRP)

Funding: Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)
Partners: Community Bridges
Program description: Funded by federal grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the four-year PSRP program will serve homeless people in Maricopa County by employing Peer Support Specialists to provide a range of services, including engaging in treatment and assistance accessing support services, such as health care, housing, employment and relapse prevention.
CABHP's Role: The Center will provide two levels of evaluation to the project. First, the Center will monitor implementation and provide feedback to Community Bridges staff. Second, CABHP will evaluate program outcomes through collection and analysis of quantitative data, and by conducting focus groups with Peer Support Specialists.
Project Leader: Vicki Staples
